This is simply a most beautiful story of Buddha Sakyamuni. His time on earth some 2500 years ago left a deep impression for human kind, which is still strong to this day. This story really shows how people who just know their path from deep inside their hearts, cannot be thwarted from the path of righteousness. Just a wonderful story to listen to again and again.

Vanity certainly is a killer. It can be difficult to spot within ourselves. One of the biggest problems with vanity is that it lets a whole lot of other nasties in our character hitch hike along for the ride. Niobe seems to have suffered the fate of not only vanity, but also insolence, not something that you would want to point toward gods. Please enjoy this story told by Michael.

As you all know our staff are volunteers and do this in their nights and weekends. It is time for our crew of narrators, script writers and production staff to take a small break, for we are a small team. Within this time we will be strengthening and further developing our product and will come back to you very soon. Around about 1 month should do it. Our staff is extremely dedicated and we all have simple goals in mind that we wish to achieve. We do this to bring a true piece of gold into our global societies, your hearts and minds, and to breathe new life into the magnificent stories of our world cultures. For anyone who subscribes to our GOLD PASS Subscription, you are not only receiving a new piece of gold every second day, but you are also allowing SOH the strength to achieve this goal more quickly and to an even broader audience. Please go ahead and subscribe, for when a person subscribes, they have some 140 stories ahead of them.
