This is one of those stories that are a little hard to believe. But if you think that, if this really happened, how would you react if you were one of the prisoners? I have always found overwhelming admiration for those I meet that are truly benevolent people. Thank you Donna for this story.

This is quite a love story, and one that may resemble some real life dramas that you may have had with a partner of yours. We really do fall so helplessly in love some times, but this story takes it to a whole other level. Thank you Melina for this lovely story.

In so many of our stories the combination of man and the divine are shown in a single human life. This story illustrates how, what we understand as mundane matter, has a life of its own. Donna has given this lovely story. I think any lady can imagine the glorious beauty of this celestial lady in the story. To absolutely keep a promise is truly something of a test for all of us. Even in something we take time and money to cement, so often we break our promise and let so much of own dignity fall.

Some of our shorter stories are great. This one is a joyful little tale about a monkey that gives a king some wise food for thought. Thanks Patrick for this little gem, one that can give us reflection on our own lives and how we sometimes near destroy ourselves to get the next step forward. But end up moving many steps back.

How ironic that this tale should come up. I literally was just speaking with my father in law today about how powerful it is to be truly ashamed of certain notions and character flaws we have. A most powerful way to better ones self is to be truly ashamed of our individual selfish ways. Patrick does a great job of hitting this story through to the heart.

What price do we truly pay for some of the horrible ways we treat people? This story tells of a boy’s fate, and his chance to change it. Melina shares this rather refreshing tale, refreshing in a way that makes us truly look at how we are treating our family members and the consequences.

A few stories back Patrick narrated a story of a monk who suffered false accusations. Here we find a man in society following what might be very similar high level principles in life, and giving an example of how someone who is mastering such noble virtues behaves himself within a society that gives constant opportunities to progress in practicing such benevolent principles.
